Job Summary:
The Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position is based in an organization located in Marshall, Michigan. This role involves providing professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients in a state-of-the-art facility. The ER Nurse will utilize critical thinking and independent judgment to perform all phases of the nursing process, collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Job Details:
- Position: ER Nurse Emergency Room
- Location: Marshall, Michigan
- Schedule: Nights; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Michigan RN license; 2+ years ER experience; Cerner experience; Charge experience; TNCC certification (preferred); BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)
- Additional Responsibilities: Provide patient assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation; supervise and direct the nursing patient care team including CNAs, LPNs, and technicians; document patient care and responses promptly; collaborate across disciplines; manage patient care efficiently during high-pressure situations.
- Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required.
- Preferred Qualifications: TNCC certification.
- Schedule Note: On-call is not required; every other weekend work scheduled, with availability for holiday coverage.
- Submission Requirements: Must include work history, skills checklist (current within 1 year), Supervisory Signed Reference from within the past two years, Michigan RN license, and active AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.
- Additional Notes: Traveler must have their own vehicle; all scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission, including RTO requests.
