Emergency Room Registered Nurse Located in the Northwest region, this position involves providing high-quality emergency care to patients within a Level III Trauma Center. The role requires critical thinking, leadership, and clinical expertise to ensure safe patient delivery and effective team coordination.
Job Details
- Position Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering patient care in the Emergency Department by utilizing nursing assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation according to state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. The RN demonstrates critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership skills to anticipate and plan for patient care. The role involves maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education and supervising assigned personnel. The RN may be required to float between departments as needed.
- Certifications and Education Requirements: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), Arizona state nursing license; minimum of 2 years of ER experience; experience with Cerner electronic medical record preferred.
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.
- Additional Information: Candidates must be willing to float. Experience in charge nurse responsibilities is preferred and may qualify for additional pay.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates should be prepared to start within two weeks of offer acceptance.
