- Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts, with a weekly guaranteed minimum of 36 hours, accommodating either a 36 or 48-hour guarantee upon request
- Certifications, Education, and Experience: Must have BLS (AHA), ACLS, and TNCC certifications; required to have 1-2 years of experience in an acute care facility; must have Iowa SING (Background) clearance, Child and Adult Mandatory Reporter certification, and recent titers (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TB) from the last 12 months
- Additional Job Requirements: Must successfully complete all background checks (county and state), drug screening (10-panel including opiates), and onboarding requirements prior to start
- Responsibilities include managing a patient load of approximately 40 visits per day with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6, ensuring adherence to hospital protocols, and providing patient care in a fast-paced environment
- Unit Information: 17-bed ER with MediTech EHR system, serving mainly adult and geriatric patient populations, with a focus on quick response and high standards of care
- Schedule Flexibility: Allows for Monday or Tuesday start dates to accommodate candidate needs
