- Required Qualifications: Valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications; Iowa State Criminal Background Check (BG) clearance; Child and Adult Mandatory Reporter certifications; 10-panel drug screen including opiates; titers from the last 12 months (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TB); candidates must have 0+ years of relevant experience and must have Iowa SING BG clearance prior to start.
- Additional Information: The ER unit accommodates all ages with a patient ratio of 1:4 and an average of 40 visits daily. The department is equipped with Meditech electronic health records, and the unit requires candidates to have ER experience. Onboarding includes separate state and county background checks, and candidates must complete the necessary titers and clearances before starting. Starting options include Monday or Tuesday.
