Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: 2 years of Emergency Department (ER) nursing experience, current Indiana or compact RN license, BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), PALS (American Heart Association), TNCC Certification, and a minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information:
    • The unit has 40 patient rooms, including non-monitored, monitored, and resuscitation bays.
    • Competency with EPIC charting and Pyxis medication administration is required.
    • Orientation runs Monday-Friday for the first week and Monday-Tuesday of the second week, with mandatory attendance for all seven days.
    • The unit employs a Team Nursing approach to ensure patient care continuity.
    • The trauma level designation for this care setting is Level 2, accommodating both adult and pediatric trauma patients.
