Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) RN Nights Location: Frye Regional Medical Center. This position involves providing essential emergency nursing care in a fast-paced, high-volume emergency department. The role requires critical thinking skills, stamina, and experience managing a broad range of urgent medical conditions from birth to death.

Job Details

  • Certifications: ACLS, PALS or ENPC, NIHSS, required; RN license required.
  • Education: Valid RN license; minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • Location Requirements: Candidates must be at least 60 miles or greater from the facility.
  • Work Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Emergency Room (ER) specialty, 2 years of experience, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, NIHSS certifications, RN license.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a fast-paced emergency department, stroke, STEMI, and trauma experience, energetic and knowledgeable personality.
  • Responsibilities include delivering patient-centered emergency care, managing critical care equipment, and supporting a diverse patient population ranging from birth to death.
  • Additional information: The unit handles a variety of diagnoses, with patient ratios of 1-4 or 1-5. Proficiency in Cerner electronic health record (EHR), good patient experience skills, and stamina are required. Help with coverage in other areas with competencies is necessary.
