Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse - Rural Emergency Department - Region's largest and most comprehensive ER with high acuity cases. Located in a rural setting, this position involves providing immediate, high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. The role requires flexibility, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to manage diverse patient populations.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, one year minimum experience in emergency nursing, current certifications including BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
- Preferred Qualifications: Peripheral IV placement, Stroke, SEPSIS, STEMI experience.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: High-paced, high acuity, rural emergency department with approximately 20 beds and patient ratios of 1:4, surging up to 1:5. Candidates should be adaptable and able to work in a diverse and dynamic environment. The assignment runs from 10/12/2026 to 01/11/2027, with orientation scheduled on select dates as per the provided orientation schedule.
