Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse (RN) Indianapolis. This position involves providing emergency nursing care in a high-volume Emergency Department. The role requires expertise in rapid assessment and critical thinking to manage fluctuating patient volumes and deliver timely medical intervention.
Job Details:
- Shift Time: Nights (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Start Date: 08/24/2026
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, ALCS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course); 2 years of experience in emergency nursing; location in Indianapolis, Indiana
- Preferred Qualifications: Critical thinking skills, ability to adapt to fluctuating patient volume in a fast-paced environment
- Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: 65
- Patient Ratios: Shock 2:1, Core 4:1, Psych 3:1, Exam 6:1
- Equipment: Alaris Pumps, Phillips Monitor, Belmont Rapid Infuser
- EMR: Epic
- Additional Information:
- Floats according to skill set
- No specific dress code, Navy Blue scrubs preferred
