Job Summary:

- Required Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC, NIHSS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- Minimum Experience: 2 years of ER experience required
- Responsibilities:
- Manage a patient load of approximately 8 patients per day in an intermingled ER environment
- Perform ABG analysis, breathing treatments, and EKG interpretations
- Draw labs and administer medications, including various drips such as cardiac, antihypertensive, antiarrhythmic, sedation, and analgesia
- Utilize GE monitors for patient assessment
- Collaborate with charge nurses and physician/mid-level staff to ensure efficient workflow and patient care
- Additional Information:
- Self-scheduling and block scheduling available
- Full-time and part-time shifts include a minimum of six weekend shifts per six-week rotation
- After-hours RT coverage on call for breathing treatments and EKGs
