Job Summary
The organization is seeking an Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract at a facility in South Austin. This role involves providing critical patient care in a busy emergency department with a focus on trauma, behavioral health, and cardiac cases, utilizing advanced equipment and following established protocols.
Job Details
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS; preferred: Meditech experience, trauma experience, inpatient experience, CPI
- Education Requirements: Registered Nurse license in good standing
- Experience: 1 year of clinical emergency nursing experience required, with a minimum of 0 years in the specialty
- Location Requirements: Not specified
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
- Additional Information: Must be able to multitask, work as a team player, and be a self-starter. Compliance with dress code (navy blue scrubs) and unit policies is required. Candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment with various emergency procedures including splinting, EKGs, trauma assists, airway support, and behavioral health de-escalation.
