Job Summary

Emergency Room in Hendersonville, Tennessee. This position provides emergency care in a Level Three Trauma setting with a patient ratio of approximately 4:1. The role requires strong bedside manner and the ability to perform advanced emergency procedures, including chest tube and central line management.

Job Details

  • Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and Emergency Nurses Pediatric Course (ENPC) certifications; experience with Level Three Trauma procedures, including chest tubes and central lines.
  • Schedule: Night shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week; every other weekend may be required.
  • Additional Information: Emergency department with 20 beds, approximately 4:1 patient ratios, and access to necessary trauma equipment. Required uniform is black scrubs. Strong bedside manner is expected.
