Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) registered nurse position available in a critical access facility. The role involves providing acute patient care in a fast-paced ER environment, handling a variety of patient needs across adult and pediatric populations. The position requires flexibility to float between departments and facilities as needed, with a focus on emergency care procedures and interventions.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid license in good standing, ACLS certification, BLS certification, PALS certification, 1 year of experience in emergency or acute care, and experience with general emergency department procedures including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, central line care/management, IV vasopressors, ventilation management, isolation precautions, and triage.
- Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Level IV experience and Epic electronic medical record system experience.
- Float: Float rotation may be required to meet facility needs.
- Special Requirements: Epic experience, trauma Level IV experience
- Additional Information: The candidate must be willing to work nights, with an orientation period of 12 hours. The ideal candidate will be adaptable to float as needed to different units or facilities, and must meet compliance documentation deadlines prior to start date.
