Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Location: unspecified. This role involves providing high-quality urgent care in a fully-accredited healthcare facility. The ER Nurse will be responsible for delivering comprehensive emergency services in a fast-paced environment, utilizing advanced skills to assist in lifesaving procedures and patient management.
Job Details
- Position Description: Backfill travel ER RN position with a shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, supporting a 24/7 emergency department. The role requires teamwork, multitasking, and thorough patient throughput focus in a 39-bed unit.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); High school diploma or equivalent; valid ER nursing license; 2 years ER experience; work location; and 1 year of experience.
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include assisting in intubations, emergency lifesaving procedures, performing procedures such as chest tubes, moderate sedation, lumbar punctures, laceration repair, and blood products. The unit employs MediTech documentation system, crash carts, Level One equipment, and Alaris Pumps. Dress code is black scrubs. The facility values team experience, staff tenure, and technological advancement.
