Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Salem, Virginia. This role involves providing critical nursing care in a 27-bed ER unit with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals. The position requires engaging in high-volume, fast-paced environments to deliver exceptional patient care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week. The assignment begins on 09/14/2026 and concludes on 12/14/2026.
- Required Qualifications: CVICU, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support). Minimum of 0 years of experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: High acuity ER experience, experience with patient ratios of 5:1, familiarity with RSI (Rapid Sequence Intubation), Sepsis interventions, Stroke protocol with tPA administration, central line placement, care of psychiatric patients, transfers via EMTALA, experience in fast-paced, high-volume ERs.
