Emergency Room Registered Nurse in Georgetown, Texas. This contract position involves providing high-quality emergency nursing care in a dynamic and community-focused environment. Job Details:

  • Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts
  • Schedule: 36 hours minimum per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; 1 year emergency department experience; certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC); Candidates must have ALS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC or PALS.
  • Preferred Qualifications: 2 years ED experience; familiarity with ENPC versus PALS; experience with procedures such as cardioversion, TNK, and moderate sedation.
  • Additional Information: Unit comprises 23 beds with a staff of approximately 40 healthcare professionals. Patient ratios typically 4:1, utilizing Welch Allyn and GE Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems. The department is recognized as a Certified Primary Stroke Center and Level IV Trauma Center, with awards such as the ICARE Award and AHA Mission: Lifeline Systems of Care Recognition. The unit fosters a close-knit, community-oriented culture with dedicated staff support and collaborative provider relationships. Dress code includes navy blue scrubs.
