Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Location: Not Specified. This position involves providing direct nursing care in a fast-paced ER setting, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and coordinating with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient outcomes. The role requires working collaboratively to address patient needs across a 55-bed unit.
Job Details
- Position Description: Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
- Certifications and Education Requirements: Valid nursing license, Nursys License/Certificate Verification, at least 1 year of nursing experience.
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Position involves working on a 55-bed unit with charting in Epic electronic health record system and Navy scrubs.
