Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position located in San Antonio, TX. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced hospital environment. The position is scheduled for dayshift hours, with a 12-hour shift length, and the assignment duration is approximately three months, starting on October 12, 2026, and ending on January 11, 2027.
Job Details:
- Shift: 12-hour dayshift, Minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license; BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications; At least 2 years of emergency room experience; Education and experience requirements as specified.
- Preferred Qualifications: CEN certification; strong teamwork and communication skills; Meditech experience preferred.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The position requires candidates to perform procedures such as conscious sedation, intubations, behavioral health monitoring, sepsis management, stroke care including TPA administration, and chest pain management (Heart Alerts). Candidates must adhere to dress code policies: navy scrubs with white, navy, or black undershirts, clean nails without acrylic or chipped polish, natural hair, and body art covered as applicable. Visible piercings other than earrings are prohibited.
