Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position is situated in a busy emergency department located at a healthcare organization. This contractual assignment spans 13 weeks, starting on October 5, 2026, with a schedule of 12-hour night shifts. The role involves providing acute care to a diverse patient population, utilizing specialized skills and clinical procedures to deliver high-quality emergency services.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale); no minimum experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Meditech experience, trauma experience, inpatient experience, CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) training.
- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The ER handles a variety of clinical procedures including splinting, EKGs, central monitoring, trauma assists, central lines, airway support, behavioral health de-escalation, Morgan Lens application, rapid infuser use, and resuscitation. The unit supports a team-oriented environment with innovative equipment and technology, staffed by experienced professionals. The dress code includes navy blue scrubs. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to multitask, be team players, and self-starters to succeed in this fast-paced department.
