GLC On-The-Go is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Goodland, Kansas.
Join a leading acute-care hospital as an Emergency Room RN in Goodland, KS. We are seeking dedicated and skilled Registered Nurses to provide exceptional care in our Emergency Department (ER). This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you may float to Med Surg as needed.
Unit Specifics: The RN will primarily work in the ER but should be prepared to handle Med Surg cases as they arise. Some shifts may involve more Med Surg responsibilities, so clear communication with your healthcare provider is essential. There are no mileage restrictions for this position.
Need Specifics: We are looking for RNs available for DAY shifts from 6a to 6p. Previous travel experience is preferred, but we are open to first-time travelers. Candidates with under 3 years of experience may also be considered.
Requirements:
Staffing and Ratios: The typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:3, with a maximum of 5:1. The floor will generally consist of 2 nurses, 1 aide, and 1 staff secretary. The facility utilizes Athena as their EMR system, and there are no set scrub colors.
Cancellation Policies: The client may cancel one (1) shift every 30 days during the 13-week assignment. If a shift is canceled, guaranteed hours will not apply for that week. If the client cancels a shift after the healthcare provider has started working, they will pay for the number of hours worked or 2 hours, whichever is greater.
