GLC On-The-Go is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Sabetha, Kansas.
Join a leading acute-care hospital as an Emergency Room RN in Sabetha, KS! This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and experienced registered nurse to work in a critical care access facility. You will be required to work across all patient units, including Med Surg and ER, providing comprehensive care to a diverse patient population.
**Unit Specifics:** This facility typically has an average inpatient census of 3 patients, with a maximum of 7-8. The staffing model usually includes 3 nurses and 1 CNA per shift, although there may be instances where the team consists of 2 nurses and 1 aide, or 1 RN and 1 LPN with an aide. The team collaboratively divides the inpatient load, ensuring that ER patients are shared among the nursing staff.
**Need Specifics:** This is an ASAP backfill position for full-time RN ER/MS needed for day shifts (0500-1700), requiring a commitment of 36 hours per week with a weekend rotation every 3rd weekend. Candidates must have ER and Med Surg experience listed on their work history at the time of submission.
**Requirements:** - Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and TNCC (must be through AHA). - All certifications must be current at the time of submission; pending certifications will not be accepted for this urgent backfill role. - Flexibility to wear any color scrubs, and flu declination is allowed with a mask requirement during flu season.
**Additional Information:** There is always a crisis nurse on call every night to provide additional support as needed. The electronic medical record system used at this facility is Cerner. The Director of Nursing will conduct interviews, so please provide specific availability at the time of submission.
