Key Responsibilities of the EMT - Paramedic- Provide emergency medical care to patients in the ED
- Operate medical equipment, such as Baxter pumps and GE monitors
- Maintain thorough patient documentation using Cerner systems
- Work collaboratively with team members across various ED sections
- Adhere to all department protocols and patient care standards
Requirements of the EMT - Paramedic- ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications prior to start date
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Level 2 trauma center or comprehensive stroke center
- Proven experience as a nurse with at least 1-year experience in an ER setting
- Ability to read telemetry monitors and pass the tele exam
- Teamwork mindset and flexible approach to patient care
