Key Responsibilities of the EMT - Paramedic- Provide emergency medical care in a Level 2 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center
- Utilize advanced medical equipment such as Baxter pumps and GE monitors
- Maintain accurate documentation within the Cerner system
- Adhere to patient experience protocols such as AIDET
- Exercise flexibility to work in various areas of the emergency department
Requirements of the EMT - Paramedic- Valid ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications before starting
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level 2 trauma center and high-volume emergency department
- At least 1-year experience specifically in an ER setting
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
