Responsible for patient assessment and treatment in a pre-hospital setting. Assists with management of cardiac arrest and other life-threatening conditions. Operates ambulance and manages the transport of patients to medical facilities. Utilizes appropriate medical equipment and technologies in patient care. Participates in a clinical screening process to determine clinical fit. May be involved in patient care coordination and communication with other healthcare providers.
