Schedule: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Payrate $28/hour

Position Overview

We are seeking three EMT-certified Patient Transporters to support the Telemetry unit. This is an urgent opportunity for qualified candidates who can safely transport patients throughout the hospital while maintaining patient safety, comfort, and dignity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely transport patients between hospital units, diagnostic departments, treatment areas, and other locations.
  • Assist with patient transfers using wheelchairs, stretchers, and other transport equipment.
  • Follow proper patient identification and transportation procedures.
  • Monitor patient condition during transport and report concerns to the appropriate clinical staff.
  • Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare team members.
  • Maintain and handle patient transport equipment appropriately.
  • Follow hospital safety, infection-control, and patient-care protocols.
  • Provide professional and compassionate support to patients throughout the transportation process.
Required Qualifications
  • Active EMT certification is required.
  • Previous healthcare or patient transport experience is preferred.
  • Ability to safely move and transport patients.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
  • Reliable and punctual with the ability to work the assigned schedule.
