Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for an Emergency Department night shift position requiring EPIC EMR experience and 2 years of recent ED experience.

Details

• Night shift position in the Emergency Department, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week assignment
• Works every other weekend
• Rotating holiday coverage required
• No blocked scheduling available

Requirements

• Active NYS RN license required at time of consideration
• Current certifications must be from AHA or RQI
• 2 years of recent experience required in Emergency Department nursing
• EPIC EMR experience required
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• At least 1 reference from a supervisor or manager within the past year (charge nurse references not accepted)
• US SSN required (Canadian SIN not accepted)
• Medical exemption required for flu vaccine declination (personal or religious declinations not accepted)

Additional Information

• Navy blue scrubs required
• More than 3 call-outs in a 13-week period may result in contract termination, with required make-up shifts completed within 6 weeks
• RTO must be requested at time of consideration
• Local candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of the facility are not accepted, including those from Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington counties
