**Join Our Dynamic Emergency Room Team!** **Job Description:** - **Location:** Emergency Department - **Address:** 509 Biltmore Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801 - **Shift:** 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM - **Duration:** 16 Weeks - Holiday Coverage **Why Join Us?** - **Recognized Excellence:** - Named one of America’s 50 Best Hospitals (2020-2023). - Achieved an "A" Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade. - Received prestigious Magnet® Designation for nursing excellence. - **Advanced Care:** - Serve as a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center. - Engage with the busiest robotic surgery program in the Carolinas. - **Diverse Environment:** - Work with a multicultural community speaking over 120 languages. - Collaborate with a team renowned for teamwork and a welcoming attitude. **Unit Specifics:** - **Number of Beds:** 101 - **Patient Ratios:** - 4:1 typically in Medical. - Up to 7:1 on ED behavioral holds. - **Staffing Support:** - Techs available for cardiac monitoring and internal processing. - Unit clerks on duty day and night. - **Equipment & Documentation:** - Utilize baxter pumps and GE monitors. - Document via Cerner system. - **Scheduling:** - Every other weekend. - No block scheduling; adaptable to departmental needs. - **Floating Policy:** - Floating only within the ED. - **Patient Experience Focus:** - Commit to AIDET protocol and deliver respectful behavior. **Requirements:** - **Experience:** - Minimum 2 years as a nurse. - At least 1 year in an Emergency Room setting within a Level II trauma center. - **Certifications:** - ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, ENPC (required before hiring). - CPI to be completed before hire date. - **Skills:** - Team player with a mindset for coaching and immediate feedback. - Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED. - **Dress Code:** - Navy scrubs required. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
