**Join Our Dynamic Team as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room!** **Job Description:** - Are you an experienced RN passionate about delivering exceptional patient care? We invite you to be a vital part of our Emergency Room team, dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare in a fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct initial assessments and establish patient care priorities based on age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs. - Reassess patients systematically to track progress and identify any trends needing intervention. - Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet established Nursing Standards. - Make informed nursing decisions based on patient evaluations and modify care plans accordingly. - Participate in health education and discharge planning for patients and their significant others. - Execute timely and appropriate interventions while documenting care effectively. - Perform various Point of Care testing procedures to support patient needs. **Staff Responsibilities:** - Utilize effective communication strategies, ensuring positive outcomes in interactions with patients and team members. - Delegate tasks efficiently to support patient care activities and follow up to ensure quality completion. - Coordinate team assignments, adjusting based on patient and unit needs. - Provide orientation and support for new staff and students on the unit. - Foster a positive work environment by demonstrating professionalism and a supportive attitude. - Collaborate with colleagues to achieve both unit and organizational goals. **Customer Relations:** - Create a high level of patient satisfaction through respectful and confidential care. - Demonstrate effective communication and human relations skills that promote teamwork. - Uphold the hospital’s credibility and integrity through positive actions. **Other Responsibilities:** - Assist with special projects and remain adaptable to changes in the work environment or schedule. - Maintain a positive attitude, particularly in high-stress situations. - Take responsibility for your professional growth and development. - Adhere to all safety policies and procedures. **Requirements:** - **Education:** Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing. - **Licenses/Certifications:** - Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license - BLS Certification required - ACLS Certification required - PALS Certification required - TNCC Certification required - CPI or equivalent preferred - **Skills:** - Knowledgeable and sensitive to patient rights in the delivery of care - Excellent communication skills tailored to the developmental age of patients **Work Schedule:** - Shifts: DAYS from 7 AM to 7 PM **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
