Travel RN – Emergency Department (Freestanding ED) | Houston, TX | Mid Shift | 13 Weeks

HealthTrust is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment at HCA ER 24/7 – North Channel (Freestanding Emergency Department) in Houston, Texas.

Shift: 3x12 Mid Shift (3:00 PM – 3:00 AM)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Position Details

• Provide emergency nursing care in a 22-bed Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED).
• Assess, triage, and treat patients presenting with a wide variety of emergency conditions.
• Perform IV starts, blood draws, moderate sedation monitoring, and splinting.
• Monitor patients using bedside cardiac monitoring and other emergency equipment, including Hamilton ventilators and defibrillators.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to deliver timely, high-quality emergency care.
• Document patient care using Meditech (transitioning to Meditech Expanse).
• Float to Fairmont FSED if required.
