**Join Our Dynamic Emergency Department Team!** - **Location:** Emergency Department - **Address:** 509 Biltmore Avenue - **Unit Name:** ER - **Cost Center:** 780 **Why This Role is Exciting:** - **High-Volume Environment:** Work in a bustling Emergency Department with over 100,000 visits a year. - **Diverse Patient Care:** Engage with a multi-cultural community speaking over 120 languages. - **Teamwork and Support:** Join a team known for their welcoming personalities and collaborative spirit. **Unit Specifics:** - **Number of Beds:** 101 - **Patient Ratios:** Typically 4:1 for medical, up to 7:1 on ED behavioral holds. - **Staffing Description:** - Techs available for support in cardiac monitoring and internal processing. - Unit clerks working both days and nights. - **State-of-the-Art Equipment:** Utilize Baxter pumps and GE monitors. - **Documentation System:** Cerner for efficient record-keeping. **Scheduling and Flexibility:** - Committed to every other weekend. - Must be flexible to work in various areas within the ED. **Patient Experience Commitment:** - Adhere to AIDET principles. - Maintain respectful behavior and keep patients informed throughout their visit. **Certifications Required (Before Starting):** - ACLS - BLS - PALS - TNCC - CPI - NIHSS - ENPC (within 90 days of hire) **Hiring Profile:** - **Experience:** - 2+ years as a nurse. - Minimum of 1 year in an ER setting. - Preferred experience in Level 2 trauma and comprehensive stroke centers (HCA experience is a plus). - **Skill Set:** - Teamwork mentality and real-time feedback capabilities. - Advanced skills in ER procedures. **Dress Code:** - Required uniform: Navy scrubs. **Additional Information:** - **Welcoming Environment:** This department is celebrated for its teamwork and friendly atmosphere. - **Growth Opportunities:** Work with new equipment and technology while enhancing your skills. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
