We are seeking a dedicated Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a 16-week contract in the Emergency Department (ER) at a leading acute-care hospital in Asheville, North Carolina. As a Travel RN in the Emergency Department, you will be part of a team that serves a diverse community, with over 120 languages spoken in the area. Your responsibilities will include providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and ensuring a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver patient-centered care in the Emergency Department.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Utilize advanced skills and knowledge in emergency nursing.
  • Maintain effective communication with patients and their families.
  • Adhere to hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an Emergency Department setting.
  • Experience in a Level II trauma center and high-volume ED (over 100,000 visits annually) preferred.
  • ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required before hire.
  • Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED and a teamwork mentality.
