Job Requirements

• Active RN license eligible for practice in Virginia
• At least 1 year of Emergency Room / Emergency Department experience required
• 1-2 years of ED nursing experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI/Handle with Care, NIH, and PALS or ENPC
• Strong ability to work in a fast-paced emergency care setting
• Professional, positive, compassionate, and team-oriented approach

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients across the lifespan
• Assess, triage, and monitor patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions
• Support treatment for common ED diagnoses including chest pain, CHF, COPD, and psychiatric needs
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to promote safe, efficient patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Respond calmly and effectively to changing patient conditions and clinical priorities
• Provide compassionate care while upholding high standards of patient safety
