Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2+ years of ED experience and rural community hospital background.

Details

  • Emergency Department setting with 16 beds
  • Patient population includes geriatrics and pediatrics
  • Patient ratios vary based on department census
  • Uses Meditech EHR system
  • Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Weekend rotation required every 3rd weekend
  • No on-call requirements
  • No floating requirements

Requirements

  • Active WI or compact RN license required
  • Current certifications required: ACLS, PALS, and BLS
  • TNCC preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
  • Rural community hospital experience required
  • Charge nurse experience required

Additional Information

  • Join a night shift team known for strong collaboration and a fun, respectful culture
  • Navy blue scrubs required; hoodies and sweatshirts not permitted
  • Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
  • Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
  • Cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on assignment
  • Weekly orientation available
