Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Associate degree in Nursing required
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department or ER nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
• Meditech experience preferred
• Strong teamwork skills, positive attitude, and the ability to stay engaged in a dynamic clinical environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient, and compassionate emergency nursing care for patients of all ages
• Perform initial assessments, monitor patient condition, and respond quickly to changes in acuity
• Care for a wide range of emergency cases, including respiratory distress, overdose, CHF, dialysis-related issues, and hypertension
• Administer medications and treatments according to established ER protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to deliver high-quality emergency care
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record
• Adapt to a flexible travel nurse assignment while maintaining a strong patient-focused presence throughout each shift
