Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in a 26-bed Emergency Department serving all patient populations including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
  • Manage and treat common ED presentations including respiratory distress, overdose, CHF, dialysis-related conditions, and hypertension
  • Maintain patient ratios of 1:4–5, adjusting based on acuity and department needs
  • Operate GE monitors and standard ED equipment while documenting in the Meditech EHR system
  • Float to like assignments as needed within the department
  • Maintain current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications throughout the duration of the assignment

Required Qualifications

  • Active RN license with a minimum Associate of Nursing degree
  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
  • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS
  • Availability for every-other-weekend hours; no on-call requirements
  • Expected weekly hours: 36
  • Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Prior experience with the Meditech EHR system
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a team player with a positive, engaged attitude
  • Experience managing high-acuity and diverse patient populations in a fast-paced ED environment
