Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications.

Details

  • 22-bed Emergency Room with pod, critical, and fast-track areas
  • Patient ratios of 4:1 for pod patients, 2:1 critical, and 6:1 fast track
  • Patient population includes all ages: geriatric, adult, and pediatric
  • Treats traumas, STEMIs, psych, cardiac, GI, stroke, and other emergent conditions
  • Uses Cerner EHR system
  • Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Every other weekend required
  • No call requirements
  • No floating requirements

Requirements

  • Active RN license (AZ or Compact) currently in hand
  • Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and PALS
  • 2+ years of ER nursing experience preferred
  • Trauma and pediatric experience preferred
  • Strong teamwork and resilience in a fast-paced environment

Additional Information

  • Provide emergency nursing care across a wide range of acute and trauma cases
  • Scrubs of any color or print permitted
  • Non-scrub attire, t-shirts, open-toe shoes, hoodies, and leggings not permitted
  • Must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
  • Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
  • Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
  • Bi-weekly orientation schedule
