Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position on night shift requiring TNCC and NIHSS certifications at a Level 3 Trauma Center.

Details

  • 28-bed Emergency Department
  • Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • 13-week assignment
  • Patient ratio of 1:4
  • Staffing includes CNC, RNs, PCTs, Unit Clerk, and Greeter per shift
  • Uses GE monitors, Lifepaks, Baxter IV pumps, Ranger rapid infuser, and Ranger blood warmer
  • Documents patient care in Meditech Expanse

Requirements

  • Active KY or compact RN license required
  • Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
  • Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS
  • No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months

Additional Information

  • Level 3 Trauma Center with Accredited Chest Pain Center and Primary PCI capability
  • Stroke Certified facility
  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
  • Local candidates will not be considered
