We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Alexandria, LA. This role involves providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a fast-paced emergency room setting.

Total Number of Beds: 328
Accreditation: Fully accredited by The Joint Commission
Patient Programs: Participates in Medicare, Medicaid, and various commercial insurance plans

Position Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
Assess patient needs, develop care plans, and implement nursing interventions.
Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and health management.

Qualifications

Current and valid RN license in the state of Louisiana.
At least 1 year of experience in an emergency room or critical care setting.
Must have TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification prior to submission.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
