The Emergency Department consists of 19 beds and has a total of 26 FTEs, with core staffing needs of 33. The unit is staffed as follows:
Patient ratios are typically maintained at a 4:1 or 5:1 ratio.
Type of Equipment: Philips
Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech
Required Skills: Candidates must have at least 2 years of Emergency Department experience. Candidates lacking these skills will not be considered for the role.
Preferred Skills: While not mandatory, candidates with the following skills will be prioritized:
Personality Fit: The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive culture fit within the team.
No floating to additional areas is required.
Attire: Royal Blue scrubs are required.
Access to unit policies and guidelines can be obtained through Policy Stat.
Weekend rotation is required, but there is no on-call obligation.
