Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ED RN for a 13-week seasonal travel assignment requiring TNCC certification and a VA or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a 24-bed Emergency Department with a 5-bed fast track area
• Treat a general emergency patient population with a 4:1 patient ratio
• Variable shift start times across days, evenings, and nights, scheduled shift is 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM
• Uses Meditech EMR
• No floating required
• 4 weekend shifts per schedule

Requirements

• Active VA or compact RN license
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Preferred certifications include NIHSS, ENPC, and CPI
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
• One professional reference required

Additional Information

• Provide emergency care alongside a team including charge nurses, techs, and paramedics
• Navy scrub color required
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
• First-time travelers may be considered
