Job Description
We are seeking a self-motivated and self-sufficient Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to perform a variety of ER tasks and provide high-quality patient care across all age groups. Our facility is dedicated to offering exceptional medical services, with a focus on creating positive patient experiences.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive assessments and triage of patients in the emergency setting.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Conduct phlebotomy, IV placement, EKGs, splinting, and wound care.
- Ensure timely and safe transport of patients as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting.
- Current certifications in ACLS, PALS, BLS, and NIHSS.
- Active RN license and clear understanding of relevant state regulations.
- Strong patient-centered approach with a focus on quality care.
- Ability to float to appropriate units if necessary.
