GENERAL INFORMATION

Tell us about the Unit:

Number of Beds: 27
Number of Staff: 50 RNs / 25 Medics

Type of Staff:

Day Shift: 1 Charge RN, 5 RNs, 2–3 Medics
- Staff increases by 4–5 RNs at 11:00 AM
- Staff increases by 1–2 RNs at 3:00 PM
Night Shift: 1 Charge RN, 5 RNs, 2–3 Medics

Patient Ratios: 4–6:1

EMR: Meditech

TYPICAL HIRING PROFILE

Must Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

Must have completed 2–3 travel assignments
Must have 2–3 years of ER experience

PREFERRED / NICE TO HAVE:

Experience in high-acuity, fast-paced, high-volume ERs
Experience working with patient ratios of 5:1

RSI
Sepsis interventions
Stroke protocols with tPA administration
Central line placement
Care of psychiatric patients
Transfers to other facilities, including EMTALA transfers
