Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position at a Joint Commission accredited facility, requiring at least 1 year of ER experience and NC or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Emergency Department at the region's largest and most comprehensive ED plus free-standing ED
• 11-bed unit with a 4:1 patient ratio
• Night shift schedule (7p-7a) with every-other-weekend rotation
• No on-call requirements
• Rare floating to Henderson ED
• Uses Paragon EHR

Requirements

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1+ years of ER experience required
• Skilled in IV administration, critical care, and drip management
• Critical care and ER experience preferred

• Facility is Joint Commission accredited with an 'A' LeapFrog Hospital Safety Rating
• 205 licensed beds with the region's largest and most advanced ICU and PCU
• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
