Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Dept position requiring TN or compact RN licensure and 2+ years of ED experience.

Details

• Emergency Services unit setting with 14 beds
• Patient ratio of 1:7
• Mids shift schedule from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
• No call requirements
• No floating required
• Block scheduling available, must be requested at time of consideration
• EMR system used is FirstNet - Cerner
• Royal blue scrubs required

Requirements

• Active RN license (TN or Compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and CPI
• Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of start
• 2+ years of recent Emergency Dept experience required
• Direct patient care experience required
• No employment gaps of 90+ days in the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department
• RTO requests must be submitted in advance and limited to less than 1 week
• RTO blackout period during Christmas
• Not eligible for candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Local candidates will not be considered for this position
