Job Description

The Emergency Department is looking for a skilled Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical and rapid patient assessment skills, ensuring effective patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
Perform rapid patient assessments and recognize changes in patient conditions effectively.
Utilize critical thinking skills to make informed decisions regarding patient care.
Administer moderate sedation, CPR, blood transfusions, and other treatments as required.
Monitor patient vitals and perform EKGs and trauma assessments.
Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Current RN license required.
Certifications: TNCC, ENPC or PALS, ACLS, BLS, CPI.
2+ years of experience in a high-volume Emergency Department, preferably in a level 1 or 2 Trauma Center.
