# Exciting Emergency Department RN Travel Opportunity! **Job Description:** - **Unit Information:** - Number of Beds: 24 - Number of Staff: 45 - Patient Ratios: 4:1 (5:1 during surge) - **Shift Details:** - Shift: 7A - 7P - Day Shift Staff: - 4 RNs - 1 Charge RN - 2 Mid-Shift RNs - 1 Mid-Shift Unit Clerk - 1 EMT - Night Shift Staff: - 4 Night RNs - 1 Night EMT - 1 Night Charge RN - **Type of Equipment:** - GE Monitors - EMR: Meditech / CPN - **Typical Responsibilities:** - Port access and IV starts - Venipuncture and nasal wash - Point of care testing (troponin, lactic acid, urine dip) - EKG and Foley placement - **Required Qualifications:** - Minimum 1 year of current hospital ED experience - Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH, ENPC - CPI Blue Card - PALS accepted in lieu of ENPC - **Preferred Qualifications:** - CEN Certification - CPEN / US IV competency - Pediatric Emergency Department experience - **Best Personality Fit:** - Caring, compassionate, and friendly - Excellent communication skills - Willing to go above and beyond for patient care - **Enticing Features:** - Work among an experienced and supportive team - Engage with cutting-edge equipment and technology - Flexible scheduling options to suit your lifestyle **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
