Bestica is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Thornton, Colorado.
Job Description & Requirements

ED RN Job Summary
- Unit Size: 40 beds with an average daily census of 145 patients
- Patient Ratio: 4:1
- EMR: Meditech
- Experience Required: Minimum 1 to 2 years of current acute-care ED RN experience
- Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI Blue Card
- Preferred Experience: Level I or II trauma experience and Meditech experience
Key Responsibilities
- ESI triage, rapid and comprehensive assessments, pain management, sepsis and stroke interventions
- Level I and II trauma activations, mass-casualty response, procedural sedation, pediatric emergency care, and behavioral-health crisis intervention
- EKGs, defibrillation, IV starts, blood administration and collection, medication administration, wound care, suturing/staple assistance, and splinting
Ideal Candidate
- An experienced ER RN who is motivated, collaborative, and strongly focused on patient care
