Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Free-Standing Emergency Department position requiring TNCC, ENPC, and CPI certifications with night shift coverage.

Details

  • Work in a 26-bed Free-Standing Emergency Department (FSED)
  • Patient ratios of 4:1
  • Unit equipped with ventilators, EKG monitors, and Teleneuro capabilities
  • Level 3 EMR system used
  • Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • No on-call requirements
  • Weekend coverage required (4 weekend days per schedule)
  • Performs procedures including IV insertion, EKG, in & out Foley, lumbar puncture, central lines, moderate sedation, and cardioversion

Requirements

  • Active TX or compact RN license required
  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Emergency Department specialty required
  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI
  • STABLE and NRP certifications preferred
  • US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (Canadian SSNs not accepted)
  • Professional reference required (two references required for Florida and Missouri placements)
  • No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

  • Join a team of 67 staff including CNCs, HUCs, RNs, and PCTs/Paramedics across day and night shifts
  • Dress code requires cobalt/royal blue scrubs only
  • Team environment values collaboration, energy, and a willingness to learn
  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates will not be considered
