Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2 years of ED experience and NC or compact RN licensure.

Details

  • 13-week travel assignment in a 26-bed Emergency Department at a Joint Commission accredited hospital
  • All patient population including geriatric, adult, and pediatric cases
  • Common diagnoses include respiratory distress, overdose, CHF, dialysis, and hypertension
  • Patient ratios of 1:4-5, flexible depending on acuity
  • Uses GE Monitors and standard ED equipment
  • Meditech EHR experience preferred
  • Day shift 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with varied scheduling
  • Weekend coverage required every other weekend
  • No on-call requirements
  • Floating required to like assignments

Requirements

  • Active RN license (NC or Compact) currently in hand
  • Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS
  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required
  • Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
  • AHA certifications required
  • Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration
