Concentric Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Smyrna, Tennessee.

Travel RN – Emergency Department (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Every Other Weekend Required | Projected Start: 08/19/2026

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in a 39-bed Emergency Department with a 4:1 patient ratio
  • Manage critical care drip administration, sedation, ESI triage, and code response
  • Assist with and support procedures including intubation, chest tube insertion, and splinting
  • Utilize Meditech EDM for all clinical documentation
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team including paramedics, EMTs, LPNs, and unit clerks
  • Uphold patient experience standards with a focus on teamwork and patient-centered care

Required Qualifications

  • Active RN license valid in Tennessee (or compact license eligibility)
  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI certifications required
  • Demonstrated experience with critical care drips, sedation, ESI, and code management
  • Ability to operate specialty equipment including Rapid Infuser and Glidescope
  • Charcoal grey scrubs required as uniform

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience with STEMI, stroke, and sepsis protocols
  • Trauma experience strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with Meditech EDM documentation system
