Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 10-room, 19-bed/chair Emergency Department
• Maintain a patient ratio of 4:1, delivering safe and effective emergency nursing care
• Manage and care for patients presenting with trauma, stroke, and chest pain conditions
• Document patient care accurately using the MEDHOST EMR system
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure timely and appropriate patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure (must be valid for the state of Texas)
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• ACLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• PALS certification (AHA or ARC)
• TNCC certification (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Experience with trauma, stroke, and chest pain patient populations
• Familiarity with MEDHOST EMR system
